Orange Park Market Sunday Dec 06, 2020 10 AM – 3 PM

JaxWhirligigs, along with about 90 other Vendors, will be at the Orange Park Farmer’s and Arts Market this Sunday, December 06, 2020 from 10 AM to 3 PM and the weather looks pretty nice, mid 60’s with little change of rain.

This Market and the next, on Dec 20, are usually some of the best Markets as we usually see some vendors that aren’t at the Market routinely.  We will have extra Whirligigs with us so if you are looking for a Christmas present we will have the Whirligig you are looking for.

Selene and I hope to see you this Sunday 🙂

Diamonds in the Rust Event Nov 20 – 21 -22, 2020

JaxWhirligigs will be participating in the Diamonds in the Rust event at Diamond D Ranch this weekend,  the event starts on Friday Nov 20th, 2020 from 10 AM to 4 PM, then on Saturday Nov 21st, 2020 from 9 AM to 5 PM and then finishes up on Sunday Nove 22nd, 2020 from 10 AM to 4 PM.

This is a little different from other events we do as there will be Antiques, Vintage Items, Farm House Finds, Home Decor vintage furniture and hand crafted crafts and items.  There will be a number of Food Trucks present, if it is anything like last year it is almost worth the visit just for the food 😉

It is basically off Normandy Blvd on the Jacksonville, Westside.

From what I saw today it appears there will be over 100 Vendors and you can spend a couple of hours, easy, looking around.  This is not a free event, there is an Admission charge, Friday Early Birds it is $15, Saturday $10 and Sunday $5.  Children under 12 are admitted free. More information can be seen here:

So if you are interested in seeing some different stuff (and I mean different) you should plan on coming out one day this weekend.

JaxWhirligigs will be back at the Orange Park Farmer’s and Arts Market (weather permitting) on Dec 06, 2020 and again Dec 20, 2020.

Hope to see you soon,
Bob & Selene

JaxWhirligigs will NOT be attending the Orange Park Market Nov 15, 2020

I am very sorry to have to report that JaxWhirligigs will not be able to attend the Nov 15, 2020 Orange Park Farmer’s and Arts Market.  We are still trying to recover from a record setting Fall Festival in Orange Park and the weather has not helped.  The last few weeks have been pretty wet with rain almost everyday and that has slowed me down in making new Whirligigs and we simply do not have enough Inventory.

I would strongly recommend you still take the time to stop by the Market this weekend as the next three Markets have typically been the busiest Markets with a number of Vendors that you don’t always get to see.  JaxWhirligigs does plan on attending both of the December Markets, Dec 6 and 20, 2020.

We will be at the Diamond in the Rust event at Diamond D Ranch next weekend, Friday, Sat and Sun, Nov 20, 21 and 22, 2020.

See you in December 😉
Bob & Selene

BluByU Fall Festival Oct 31, 2020 9 AM – 5 PM

JaxWhirligigs will be participating in the 1st Annual BluByU Fall Festival on the westside of Jacksonville this Saturday, Oct 31, 2020 from 9 AM to 5 PM.  There will be Arts and Crafts Vendors as well as Food trucks and Kids Activities.

There is a $5.00 per car entry fee.

We will not be at the Nov 01, 2020 Orange Park Farmer’s and Arts Market, however we will be attending the Nov 15 Market.

Hope to see you Saturday,
Bob & Selene

38th Annual Orange Park Fall Festival Oct 17 – 18, 2020 10 AM – 5 PM

Well folks it is almost time for our favorite event of each Craft Season, the Annual Orange Park Fall Festival.   JaxWhirligigs will be in the same spot as each Fall Festival, Booth 131 which is close to the North East corner of the Park.

Make sure you VOTE for JaxWhirligigs in the Peoples Choice Awards, we will have ballots at the booth 🙂

This will be our 6th Annual Orange Park Fall Festival, and while we have to deal with Covid-19 this year (ALL year long *sigh*) we are determined to have the best Fall Festival ever.  There are over 150 Vendors of all types scheduled, Artisan Food, Food Trucks, Crafts of all types (including Whirligigs 😉  ) and Kids Activities and Entertainment.

The Annual Fall Festival even has an APP, doesn’t everything now…    Oh and the Fall Festival also has a Facebook Presence, check it out…

With so many events already being cancelled this season it is refreshing to see one of the best events of the season still taking place and it will be worth your time to come and visit the Fall Festival on Saturday and/or Sunday, hey it’s FREE so you can come both days 🙂

Selene and I are both looking forward to the event as well as seeing all of you Whirligig Lovers out there…  #OPFALLFEST  #OPPARKLIFE

Until Saturday Oct 17th,  stay safe
Selene and Bob

JaxWhirligigs will not be at Orange Park Market Sun Sep 20, 2020

Sorry folks but the weather is just nasty enough that Selene and I decided we don’t need to be out on a crappy day like this and as a result we will not be attending the Orange Park Market today.

Note if you need a Whirligig before the next Market on Oct 4, 2020, just contact us and we can arrange for pickups here at our house.

Our apologies,

Orange Park Market Sunday Sep 20, 2020

The Orange Park Farmer’s and Arts Market will be back this Sunday, Sep 20, 2020 from 10 AM to 3 PM and JaxWhirligigs will be there 🙂

If you have never come to the Market or haven’t been in awhile, it is worth the effort to come on by, Admission is always FREE and there are number of Food Vendors as well as us Crafters 😉  Two really pop out, Cousin’s Maine Lobster and Corny Cooks, it almost worth the visit just for them 🙂

Also note that the Orange Park Annual Fall Festival is a GO for this year and make sure you make a note on your Calendar for Oct 17 and 18, 2020 a Saturday and Sunday.  There will probably be close to 150 Vendors this year as well as Covid-19 friendly Kids activities.  I haven’t seen the vendor list yet but the Fall Festival is worth the trip just for the variety of Food Trucks, Yummmm 😉

Selene and I hope to see you this Sunday 🙂

Orange Park Farmer’s and Arts Market Sunday Sep 06, 2020

Well folks it is September already and a new Craft Season is starting…   While many large events are still being cancelled smaller events are still being held and of course our favorite is The Orange Park Farmer’s and Arts Market, which is held the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month starting this Sunday September 06, 2020 from 10 AM to 3 PM.

There will be about 75 Vendors, all sorts of Craft Vendors like JaxWhirligigs :), Food Trucks, Craft Foods, Farmers with produce, meats and other items.

It is always a Free event and held in a shaded park alongside the Orange Park Town Hall, certainly worth an hour or two of your time this Sunday.

JaxWhirligigs will have our full complement of Whirligigs including our Seasonal Whirligigs, Santa’s, Witches and Snowmen 🙂  As well as our newest Whirligigs, Large Flamingo’s and Butterflies…

Selene and I are looking forward to seeing you this Sunday,

Orange Park Farmer’s and Arts Market Sunday Aug 16, 2020 10 AM – 2 PM

JaxWhirligigs will be at the upcoming Orange Park Farmer’s and Arts Market this Sunday August 16, 2020 from 10 AM to 2 PM.  It is always a great day at the Market, over 60 Vendors, a number of Food Vendors (including our Friends Corny Cooks) and the Market is always FREE admission 🙂

This Sunday we will have something special for Flamingo Lover’s.  We will have our Purple Flamingo back in stock as well as a New Large Flamingo that is almost 50% larger than our Regular Flamingo.  It is 15″ tall with a 26″ Wingspan, it really Stands out.  The Large Flamingo is a $60 Whirligig…

Selene and I are looking forward to this Sunday’s Market and hope to see YOU there 🙂

Till then,
Bob & Selene

Orange Park Market Jul 19, 2020 10 AM – 2 PM

The Orange Park Farmer’s and Arts Market will be held this Sunday Jul 19, 2020 from 10 AM to 2 PM (note that the July and August Markets end at 2:00 PM not 3:00 PM)

JaxWhirligigs will be joining other Farmers, Craft and Food Vendors this Sunday with our full lineup of Whirligigs.  The Orange Park Market is a great venue, especially in these trying days, it allows for easy Social Distancing and providing a number of Hand Sanitizing stations as well as vendors providing hand sanitizer in their booths.

If you are itching to get out and look for some great crafts, or just check out some excellent Food Vendors, this is a perfect event for you.  All of the vendors are taking precautions for both their own and your safety, promoting social distancing and providing contactless payments when possible.

With the real possibility that the Large Craft events being cancelled for the remainder of 2020, Micanopy’s fall Festival, McIntosh’s 1890’s Festival and Flagler Counties Creekside Festivals have already been Cancelled for 2020, the Orange Park Market may be your only real opportunity for Handmade Craft shopping in 2020…

Looking forward to seeing you this Sunday,
Bob & Selene
